About Us

The first goal I have in my work is to care about, deeply listen to, and accept the person sitting with me. The second goal is to help my clients reach the goals they’re coming to me with, sometimes after helping them figure out what they are. I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy in sessions, working to identify the thoughts and behaviors that are contributing to what is bringing each person in and then finding ways to integrate new ones. I seek to find a counseling style that works for each client, using their strengths and preferences to create a space that is comfortable and effective for anyone coming to see me. , As my faith is something that is central to my life, I enjoy working with Christian clients that want their faith to be a part of our work as well. I happily counsel clients from all walks of life. There is typically a good amount of laughter while working with me, and if we’re lucky, lots of tears. , I close sessions by asking “What’s one thing that stood out to you today, felt like a helpful thought, or felt like a new thought.” From there, we create a plan for the week ahead to start integrating positive change flowing out of the conversation we had during our time together.
