Whether you feel overwhelmed by anxious thoughts, depressed feelings, a troubled relationship, grief, or a past trauma that does not relent, there is a way forward for you and a hope for a more balanced future. One of the most important steps toward that future is the first one – the act of reaching out and asking for help. I encourage you to take that difficult step - for yourself, your future, and those you love. I can help you recognize and verbalize underlying problems, teach you skills to manage symptoms, and gain new insights that will shift your perspective. , I offer individual therapy for adults. My areas of special interest are depression and anxiety, interpersonal relationship issues, adapting to life transitions, and grief /loss. My approach to counseling is supportive, respectful, and curious, with a touch of humor. I place a special emphasis on creating a safe and open space, free of judgment. , Our work together may be challenging at times. It takes courage to examine your life and confront the need for changes you know will be difficult. I look forward to witnessing where you are and helping you get to where you want to be.
