Mary is experienced in treating both adults and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders, as well as co-occurring substance use disorders. She also has experience with helping people in the neurodivergent community build mastery in their executive functioning and communication skills. In addition, Mary enjoys working with LGBTQIA+ youth and their families, particularly in the context of navigating the challenges of coming out, managing gender dysphoria, transitioning, and helping families of trans youth increase their ability to advocate for and support their LGBTQIA+ children. , Mary takes an empathetic approach to helping clients regain control of their lives by building a set of coping skills that help them manage their symptoms, navigate stressful circumstances, and regulate their emotions. Mary uses a skills-based approach mixed with talk therapy to help people take an active role in their mental health journey. , Drawing from her extensive experience in using Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Family Based Treatment and Behavioral Activation, Mary will help you identify and gain control of your symptoms by using your strengths to help you achieve your goals and not feel limited by your mental health struggles.
