About Us

I appreciate the courage it takes to seek out help at a time of vulnerability and hope that I can be helpful to you. I have over 20 years of clinical experience working with adults, young adults and couples. I believe that we all have the capacity to change and heal. At the same time, difficult life circumstances can get in the way, leaving us feeling stuck, lonely, and unable to develop or access our strengths. I see therapy as a collaborative effort with the goal of helping people overcome these obstacles, and feel free to live a fuller and more satisfying life. , I strive to provide a safe, trusting and caring space, and believe that healing can only occur within this context. Only then can we dare to be hopeful, take risks, explore places that have been buried, open our hearts to new possibilities, be authentic, and allow compassion and connection to touch and transform our lives. , I have an interactive style, and have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationship problems. I combine a psychodynamic approach with interventions derived from mindfulness, parts work and attachment theory. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, enjoy working with immigrants and bring a multicultural perspective to my practice.
