Starting therapy can be intimidating and why it is vital to find a therapist with whom you feel comfortable and safe. I view each person or family I work with as individuals and incorporate how relationships and environment impact daily functioning. The priority in treatment is supporting you to increase self-care, self-love, and guide you towards wellness and healing. As a LMFT I have had the opportunity to work with a myriad of mental health needs focusing on anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life stage changes, and the LGBT+ community. , When working with individuals or couples, my style is eclectic and drawn from a variety of models including Structural and Narrative Family Therapy, various trauma models and CBT to adapt to your needs. I understand that not every model or intervention works for every person or family and will work collaboratively with you to find the right match. , Working to better ourselves is at times a difficult mountain to climb. I encourage you to find a therapist that makes you feel comfortable enough to have the difficult conversations; that is the first step towards healing.
