About Us

I am a clinical psychologist practicing for more than two decades. My approach is to provide a safe and comfortable space in which clients can share their worries, concerns, and fears that are part of daily living. I use cognitive-behavioral treatment, which emphasizes the importance of how we understand events, ourselves, and others; these affect our feelings and the way we go about our daily lives. The goal is to improve insight AND making changes to improve our quality of life. Many of my clients struggle with adjusting to difficult situations, and want to move forward from difficult situations that affect day-to-day life. , I have worked for many years with anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. Other areas of expertise include trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder for people coping with a wide range of painful experiences, and helping people cope with medical conditions, ranging from chronic pain to HIV to cancer. , " In addition to my private practice, I am a full-time faculty member at the Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine Program at the BU School of Medicine, where I train and supervise masters degree students. I am also a faculty member for the Residency Program in Family Medicine at Boston Medial Center. "
