I believe that problems develop relationally and therefore it makes sense to solve them relationally: to seek resolution through genuine understanding is the work of therapy. In my experience, the relief that clients seek is contingent upon being seen as they are, and as they want to be seen, and feeling understood. , I provide a space that is therapeutic in that it encourages introspection and curiosity in the context of the safety to share oneself, and to develop selfhood in relationship to another. My style is genuine, clear, and compassionate. I am influenced by attachment theory and family systems theory as well as a history of working with trauma. , While I am trained in EMDR, DBT, and IFS, and Narrative therapy (which is my predominant style) I am always learning with my clients and bring awareness but not authority into session so that my clients may clarify to me the world as they see it before I attempt to intervene with any assumptions.
