About Us

Holly McGhee, MSW, LICSW, is an experienced and compassionate therapist at Brighter Beginnings by Kairos Counselings. With a BA in Psychology and a Master of Social Work, Holly brings a wealth of knowledge from diverse settings, including residential programs, hospitals, and schools. Her extensive experience has equipped her to support children and adolescents through various stages of trauma—whether preventive, in crisis, or on their healing journey. Holly’s approach is collaborative and empowering. She believes in working alongside her clients to help them find their own answers and develop personalized plans for growth and , empowerment. Passionate about assisting children and adolescents, Holly is dedicated to helping them secure their purpose, build confidence, and acquire the skills necessary for success at home, school, and in the community. She employs a person-centered, strength-based, and holistic approach, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including DBT, , Mindfulness, CBT, and Problem-Solving techniques. Holly specializes in helping young individuals manage depression, anxiety, self-doubt, adverse life experiences, trauma, and the everyday challenges of our complex world. Holly is committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where clients can feel empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
