One of the most important goals in my practice is to foster a warm and genuine empathic environment where my clients can develop a sense of trust and well-being. My clients have sought out my help to manage: anxiety, panic attacks, depression, trauma, and cross-cultural issues; they may want to improve their relationships, low self-esteem, artistic struggles, sports performance difficulties as well as vocational and academic issues. , In sessions, we engage in therapy conversations where I can listen to you, point out some connections that you may not have been aware of and offer questions for you to reflect on. I can be "hands-on" and suggest concrete skills to help you change certain behaviors that are not optimal. Mutual respect is key. I offer kindness, empathy and acceptance. , Being bi-cultural/bilingual, I help with cross-cultural transitions. I offer meditation/guided imagery sessions to help with anxiety and panic attacks. My theoretical orientation: psychodynamic psychotherapy, relational and empathy-based treatment, and mindfulness-based cognitive-behavioral therapy (MBCT).
