I am a firm believer that everyone has their own unique story, and that we are the experts in our own lives. Therapy with me is a collaborative process where we explore the impact of this trauma and a range of other issues that may be impeding your ability to live your best life. My role in the therapeutic relationship is to provide a safe space for curiosity and exploration, and offer tools that highlight and build upon your innate strengths and resources, ultimately allowing you to take actions to better your life. , My expertise is in mood/anxiety disorders, addiction, acculturation issues, family conflicts, and relationship difficulties. I am adept at providing therapy both in English and Mandarin Chinese. While my approach is insight-oriented and solution-focused, I incorporate various modalities of treatment to fit the goals of each individual client. , I utilize a holistic and integrative approach to develop treatment plans individual to each client, weaving together techniques from EMDR, CBT, ACT, attachment-based, and psychodynamic therapy. I am an EMDR-trained clinician working towards my certification with EMDRIA.
