" My name is Anastaxia Kirkpatrick, and I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts. I became interested in the mental health field early on. I took my first introductory to psychology class in high school and this inspired me to pursue higher degrees in the psychology field. I eventually narrowed by specialty to forensic psychology, and I have a masters degree in forensic mental health counseling and have worked in several community settings. During my time working in community settings, I was able to witness the need for more outpatient therapists. ", " My goal is to make therapy accessible to everyone in need. I primarily use SMART goals with my clients. SMART goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound. In the first session we will go over introductions and discuss both short-and long-term goals for therapy. This will also be the clients opportunity to ask questions. "
