About Us

Hi. My name is Tammy Kirschner, and I have been a licensed psychologist for 30 years. I work with young adults and adults on a variety of presenting concerns. I have been a psychotherapist for many years and have been trained in many approaches to therapy such as CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic, I believe each client has unique needs and no one approach is effective for all. My approach to therapy differs based on the needs of my clients. I use Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, DBT, mindfulness-based therapies, and solution-based and positive psychology. I also have a Life Coaching certification. , I am a warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive therapist. I provide a validating space for my clients and believe that rapport and trust are the foundations of a productive therapeutic relationship. I also take a collaborative approach with my clients. , Helping others has always been my North Star. I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as my private practice. Helping people feel relief from their pain, developing coping skills when they feel helpless, and guiding individuals through life’s many transitions have been my life’s mission.
