Hi, I’m Stephen. I maintain that one of the hardest parts of healing is starting. By seeking help, you’re choosing to be vulnerable and open to change, and that should be admired! I see that in working with me, you are trusting me with your story, and I will work hard to earn that trust. I truly believe that in therapy, the relationship heals. I want to get to know you and your life, and I hope to work together to equip you with the tools to live a healthy life. Finding the right therapist for you can be an intimidating journey, and I hope to make your experience not only comfortable but truly meaningful. , I recognize that our childhood and adolescence can shape how we move through our world, and how we interact with others. When we experience hardship at that most vulnerable point in our lives, we work to survive as best we can. Oftentimes those strategies may carry through our whole lives if unchecked. , Those protections, those strategies, those walls, all were used to keep you safe in a time where you weren’t guaranteed safety.
