Past events could include childhood experiences, addiction within the family, or acts of violence. Consequences may also include nightmares, insomnia, relational issues, addiction/substance abuse and physical symptoms. I specialize in working with adults, adolescents and families in the area of trauma, addiction/substance abuse, eating disorders, domestic violence and individuals involved with the dependency court system. , I utilize EMDR and the cutting edge therapeutic modality of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART offers the potential for rapid and permanent resolution to trauma and other types of distress in a safe and effective manner. ART allows the individual to gain insight and resolve past issues/traumas. , I am a qualified parenting educator, certified adoptions competency trained therapist and qualified clinical supervisor.
