" Dr. Mott is a Licensed Psychologist at Counseling & Psychological Services of Central Florida which is located near downtown Winter Garden. He aims to make counseling an effective and comfortable process while treating every person with dignity and respect. The relationship between the client and therapist is one of the most important factors in successful therapy; therefore, Dr. Mott works with the individual to establish a client-centered approach which places the individuals goals and needs at the forefront of treatment. He works with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. Dr. Mott tends to work from a humanistic solution-focused approach that employs interventions which attend to ones culture, individual differences, and preferences. ", Dr. Mott also provides comprehensive testing services which include psychological evaluations, personality testing, ADHD/Learning disability assessments, achievement testing, memory testing, and bariatric evaluations. Regarding specialized treatments, Dr. Mott provides Academic Success/Time Mngmt skills to children, college students, and parents. He also enjoys using Mindfulness/Meditation practices when appropriate.
