Because you and others continue to experience the effects of TRD, doctors with this clinical research study are evaluating an investigational nasal spray medication. They want to learn more about the effectiveness, safety, and usefulness of the investigational medication when it is given to people with TRD. , If you qualify, choose to join the study, and sign the informed consent form, you will be asked to attend at least one screening visit with the study doctor. During the screening, you will undergo physical (including blood work) and mental health assessments to determine if you are a good match for continuing in the study. , You will also be asked to stop taking any medications you are using to treat your depression. After screening, there are 3 more parts to the study: Study Medication Dosing, Study Medication Dosing or Observation, and Follow-Up
