" Melissa Sandino is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a masters degree from Albizu University. Melissas warm and genuine personality allows her to approach therapy with empathy and openness which fosters an environment of safety, trust, and non-judgement. With expertise in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Art therapy, Mindfulness, and Play therapy; she has successfully worked with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds and a wide range of concerns: extensive trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting difficulties, behavioral difficulties and self-esteem struggles.
