About Us

Maintaining an integrative approach, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT, EMDR and Self Regulation techniques modalities in my therapeutic practice. My specialties are Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Sexual Trauma, Depression and Anxiety. I believe that while it is crucial to have the knowledge and skills to implement the most effective evidence base protocols, the primary focus of my work is to create a safe therapeutic relationship with my clients, with whom I adopt a collaborative approach in order to tailor a treatment plan based on their needs and their cultural background. , After completing my undergraduate degree at Genova University Italy, I received my Master in Clinical Social Work at Florida State University. Since my initial approach to the field of mental health, I have always pursued to gain knowledge in what clinical research has demonstrated to be the most effective "evidence based" therapeutic models of practice. , Following a highly specialized internship at Bay Pines VA hospital, I dedicated several years to working with children and adults victims of sexual trauma. I participated in a nation wide government founded research project lead by the National Child Traumatic Stress Network to develop an evidence based protocol for the treatment of childhood trauma.
