My passion is helping individuals and couples create deeper levels of emotional and sexual intimacy. In adults, romantic love can only be truly enjoyed when partners are able to feel safe and secure in turning to each other for their needs. My role as a therapist is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore unfamiliar and uncomfortable emotional experiences, without feeling blame, shame or judgment. , Couples and marital therapy: Healing and recreating trust after infidelity, communication issues, sexual intimacy, and the loss of love and connection. Healing after separation/divorce. Grief. Co-parenting issues, including during and after divorce. Blended family issues. Relational issues stemming from anxiety, depression, substance abuse and addiction. , Love and attachment are basic human needs that begin at birth and continue throughout our lives. My therapeutic approach is based on Emotionally Focused Therapy and Gottman couples therapy. Both approaches are research-based. Outcome studies suggest that 75% of couples are able to achieve more secure and satisfying relationships.
