I am the co-owner of South Tampa Wellness Spa but more importantly I am the mother to two young adults and a spouse to a U.S. Army veteran spending over 22 years facing the many challenges military life brings. I believe that everyone has the potential to overcome the obstacles that life throws at us. It is my goal to work along side with clients to replace the negative self-talk and the coping skills the no longer work with positive and more effective skills they can carry with them long after they leave a session. , I have worked along side children and foster children, teens, and adults who have struggled with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, trauma, and grief. While I have extensive training in trauma focused therapy and CBT. I work with clients to find what is best for them. I am caring, empathic, but also funny because sometimes laughter is the best medicine. , There is no judgment in my office and I am dedicated to ending the stigma around mental health.
