My name is Jerry Kuhn and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Englewood, Florida. I work with clients locally in person and statewide via telehealth. I work with adolescents and adults and specialize in anxiety, stress, and trauma, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused and Trauma-Focused Therapy to facilitate change, create goals and overall just feel better. , I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for teens and adults who may be dealing with the challenges of life transitions and social pressures. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress, and in many cases, a result of a past traumatic experience. , My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused, as both modalities help me and the client build a shared understanding of their reality, and allow us to work together to chart a path forward.
