My ideal client(s) will be open to my relentless compassion, nonjudgmental stance, and empathy. S/he or they will walk out of sessions feeling a strong sense of relief, no longer alone with overwhelming thoughts and feelings. S/he or they will be benefit from a strong sense of my presence and caring that carries through from one session to the next. S/he or they will benefit from a therapist that does not simply sit back and listen and nod, but rather one actively listens and participates in the conversation. My ideal client(s) is excited to walk out of session with a much better understanding of themselves and how to move forward. , My specialties are working with individuals and couples who are experiencing relational challenges that may lead to overwhelming anxiety, grief, and at times depression. I practice from two primary modalities (EFT an AEDP) that help my clients better understand their emotional worlds, process trauma and shift out of long term conflict patterns. , I like to speak with potential clients on the phone for at least 15-20 minutes so I can get a better sense of what they are looking for in a therapist, and to answer any questions; after a brief phone consultation, I believe you will be able to get a strong sense of my personality and clinical style.
