In my practice, I work with individuals, couples, and families. As your therapist, I believe in helping you attain wellness, sustainable growth, and develop insight and skills so you can achieve your goals. Therefore, my approach to psychotherapy is collaborative. As we work together, it is my role to help empower you through the identification of your strengths and to build skills as a means of achieving understanding, emotional wellness, and attaining your goals. My areas of practice include but is not limited to anxiety and mood disorders, relationship issues, and human sexuality. , Although my theoretical orientation is integrative, as a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT)I believe that the insight discovered in CBT and the skills solution focused, mindfulness, and insight oriented techniques depending on your needs. , Over the years I have been fortunate to work with a diversified clientele, which I feel has helped inform me to be a culturally competent clinician. I feel as though these diverse experiences contribute to my awareness of the vulnerability of being in therapy, and the need to establish a safe and trusting relationship with my clients as we identify and explore the issues you are navigating. Therefore, I would define my style of therapy as warm and inviting, yet goal oriented so you can achieve the insight and skills to be the best "you" possible.
