Greetings! My name is Ashley Childs and I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern at Inner Serenity. I am trained in the standard protocol of EMDR as well as acute and ongoing stress advanced EMDR protocol(s). I am also a certified Vinyasa and Kemetic Yoga Teacher. I am extremely passionate about incorporating body center approaches in my practice and take a client centered approach. I believe clients are the experts of their experiences as well as their story. I take pride in looking at therapy through a Mind & Body lens, as they are both impacted due to our experiences. , I received my Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Hampton University, then attended Temple University where I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology in 2022. I have worked at two different non profit organizations where my work was dedicated to helping individuals heal from sexual assault, human trafficking, and domestic violence. , " Whats more, I have been a yoga instructor since 2019, and incorporate this form of healing & therapy into my work with clients.
