About Us

I have been a military spouse for over twenty years and have a lot of knowledge of the deployment process and how military life affects the whole family. I also have twenty years experience in the addiction, mental health and counseling field. I believe that every individual has it within themselves to overcome the majority of their struggles, they just need some help. My job as a therapist is to foster this healing process. I will not tell you what you must do, but I will assist you in finding the solution for yourself. I am qualified as a SAP to complete the SAP evaluations for Department of Transportation. , For Individuals, I utilize CBT, mindfulness and solution-focused brief therapy techniques to help you meet your goals quickly, decrease time spent in therapy (versus more in-depth treatment methods), and ensure that you leave therapy with the tools you need to handle future problems effectively and independently. EMDR trained and certified trauma specialist. , With couples, I focus less on what is wrong and more on what is right as well as teaching couples the tools that make marriages last. We work on developing a sense of "we", building friendship, restoring trust, strengthening love, and bringing back hope into marriage. I also provided clinical supervision for MFC and MFT interns.
