I provide a safe and supportive space for my clients so they feel comfortable discussing their feelings with me. I take a collaborative approach to counseling and offer my clients warmth, empathy, understanding and acceptance, all in a non-judgmental therapeutic environment. I place great emphasis on the therapeutic relationship along with helping my clients identify and achieve their goals. I am passionate about encouraging and empowering my clients to reach their full potential by helping them gain greater insight into their lives, strengthen self-esteem and foster feelings of self-worth. , I feel it’s important for clients to learn skills & strategies to help change unhealthy thinking/behavioral patterns and to manage stress and emotions effectively. Learning how to regulate emotional reactivity, as well as breaking destructive cycles will reduce unwanted behaviors and improve one’s overall mental health, functioning and sense of well-being. , " Im a Provisional Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the process of attaining full licensure. Im trained in PIT, which describes how childhood trauma (abuse & neglect) plays a major role in the development of one’s life. I have training in CBT, Schema Therapy, DBT-Informed and CFT. I specialize in anxiety, OCD, codependency, depression, addiction & trauma. "
