My name is Duane Khan. I am a Psychologist Based in Sarasota. My style is generally to be curious about the relationship you have with yourself and with the world around you. I am relaxed, knowledgeable, and endeavor to co-create an environment that is safe and non-judgmental, providing a reflection of you that is compassionate, accurate and one you value. My clients tell me that I am easy to talk to about even the most difficult things. You will find me to be attentive, calming, and accepting. Whatever our specific goals, we will deepen your relationship with your inner wisdom, your Inner Sage, to determine how you heal and grow. , Finding a therapist can be daunting. You will find that within our relationship you can be in the driver’s seat, and I will be your navigator. It’s important to me that clients feel like they can have a place outside of their lives, where they can pause, understand where they’ve been and map what is most important to them as they move forward, no judgment. , I have a wealth of life experience on four continents and a depth of psychological training. I have a master’s degree in mental health counseling, as well as a doctorate in counseling psychology. I specialize in treating people from marginalized groups, though all are welcome.
