So often, we get caught up in trying to rewrite the already lived chapters in our life stories, or have a desire to over control and predict the outcome, that we lose sight of the chapter that were currently writing. This tendency keeps us from being the best, most authentic versions of ourselves and limits our ability to consider whats truly important and meaningful. I enjoy working with clients who recognize this conflict and are willing to sit with and consider their current experience. ", I work from the perspective that experiencing pain is inevitable in life; but suffering in your pain is optional if you choose to change your relationship with it. My aim is to help you learn how to cope more effectively with life’s struggles by taking a “present-focused approach” and help you develop skills focused on balancing both acceptance and change. , Therapy can be both one of the most rewarding and intimidating experiences you choose to invite into your life.
