About Us

In my general psychology practice since 1996, I have served individuals, couples and family members with many different challenges. I am happy to talk by phone to answer any questions you may have before making a first appointment. My style is collaborative and respectful, starting with a thorough assessment. I use a variety of approaches (e.g., Relational Life Therapy, EMDR, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic) to understand problems, solutions, and actions needed for assisting my clients. It is a privilege to be an ally for clients as they gain insights and make powerful changes. , My professional focus areas include Relationships, Couples, Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Trauma, Life Changes, Communication, Childhood Issues, Introversion, and the impact of societal ills (e.g. Racism, Sexism, Homophobia, and Economic Problems). As a certified EMDR practitioner, I also use EMDR (www.emdr.com) to help resolve negative experiences. , I trained in the scientist-practitioner model of psychology.
