As a parent, there is nothing more upsetting than seeing your child in distress. And when your child is in distress, it effects the whole family. The challenges kids face today are unique and plentiful. Reactions from kids such as anxiety, depressed mood and behavioral outbursts are common. As a therapist, my goal is to help kids navigate these challenges and reactions by providing them with successful coping and communication skills. By working with your child to enhance his peer and familial relationships, my goal is to benefit the whole family through reducing stress. , My background in child development and counseling makes me a valuable asset for you and your child. With more than 10 years of education and experience helping families navigate divorce, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues and trauma I look forward to being a resource to your family. , My practice was recently voted as a Best of Tampa Bay Business for mental health. I offer free consultations and use animal therapy (when desired) as well as play and art therapy to engage with your child and make therapy a positive and successful experience for the whole family.
