As a clinical social worker I have been able to help those that are struggling with depression, anxiety, feelings of hopelessness, which have negatively impacted their self-worth. Through therapy they have been able to overcome obstacles as well as identify and utilize skills that they had all along. I empower my clients to advocate for themselves and believe in their inner strength. , I worked with individuals who have been diagnosed with alcohol and/or substance misuse who have been linked with the court system, as well as working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced complex trauma, and other mental illnesses, as well as a wide range of experience working with different cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds. , I became a therapist to assist others in finding their voice and assist in empowering them to see their inner strength in order to be a better version of themselves.
