Do you struggle to manage your emotions and understand your experience? Do you identify with feeling anxious or experience trauma? Our bodies serve as the vessel to communicate our needs, keep us safe and hold our emotions yet we often feel disconnected, confused and lost on how to do so. My name is Carolina and I specialize working with adults and teens who experience Anxiety, Trauma, Grief and low Self Esteem. I implement Art Therapy and Somatic Healing in individual therapy sessions to help you understand your body and heal. I am passionate about helping you increase your mind-body connection within a safe and supportive space. , Art Therapy is the use of art making and the creative process as a tool for self-exploration, understanding and coping. Somatic Healing implements the use of mindfulness to increase self-awareness and discover tools to strengthen the mind-body connection. Both can help you regulate your emotions, build self-esteem, find coping skills and help you heal! , I am a compassionate, patient and supportive therapist whose main goal is to offer a safe environment to help you address your desired treatment goals.
