I have over 40-years experience as a psychotherapist. I am a generalist and my therapeutic approach is multi-faceted. Consequently, I have a very diverse clientele: kids, adolescents, adults and seniors -- and from disruptive and behaviorally challenged children and adolescents to adults with chronic anxiety, OCD, addictions, chronic pain, depression and other mood disorders. I also see quite a few couples, as well as folks interested in distinctively Christian counseling. I have written "The Unwelcome Blessing" -- a book focusing on coping with depression from a Christian perspective. , My therapeutic approach is very eclectic and has grown and evolved over the years. I use bits of behavior modification, reality therapy, client-centered counseling, TA (transactional analysis), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as being able to frame issues psychodynamically (neo-Freudian). I also use a relaxation technique: Autogenic Therapy. , " I have published four books and Im an active blogger on a variety of topics. "
