Alicia Jaramillo, Licensed Mental Health Counselor MH22563. My name is Alicia Jaramillo, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 21 years of professional work experience in various settings including K-12 schools, substance abuse treatment residential facilities, and mental health agencies. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, LGBTQ+-related issues, relationship issues, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, & trauma and abuse. I specialize in Trauma counseling and am also a Certified Mind Body Medicine practitioner. , " I incorporate Mind-Body Medicine techniques in therapy to help release stored trauma if clients feel these techniques are useful. My reason for entering the field of Mental Health counseling is because I wanted to become the person, I needed but didnt have when I was young. ", As someone who has survived trauma and abuse in my youth, I am very compassionate and can relate to those struggles. My goal is to help my clients heal through the pain they have suffered, and develop strength, clarity, and resiliency that will bring them peace, security, and a healthier happier life.
