Alex passionately holds the belief that life is too short not to be the person you want to be. He does his best to give the clients he works with the tools they need to live happy, productive lives. Previously, Mr. Kaplan was the Outpatient Director for a local non-profit specializing in outpatient substance abuse and mental health. Alex is a graduate of the University of Florida and has a Masters Degree from Barry University. Nothing gives him more satisfaction than seeing a client leave his office feeling even just a little bit better about themselves. , Alex specializes in family counseling, specifically working with families with at risk youth. Other specialties include substance abuse, anxiety, and depression. Alex works closely with local psychiatrists, family care doctors, and neurologists to ensure his clients have the proper coordination of care. , Alex works evening hours and is available to meet clients on Saturdays. Alex works on a sliding scale which allows him to do his best to accommodate those that seek treatment but feel that it would be a financial burden.
