About Us

As we move through the stages of life, there may be changes that cause us to be faced with unexpected challenges. These are times it may help to process our experiences with another to decrease emotional distress or to explore different options. It may also help to gain an awareness of how learned behaviors, negative beliefs of self and unresolved issues from the past can affect our mental health. Once these are worked through, it may be easier to appreciate and embrace the here and now. It is important for me to provide a safe and supportive environment where emotions, beliefs, and concerns can be shared and worked through. , I have worked with adolescents, adults, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those with relationship issues for 14 years. My approach to counseling utilizes evidence-based treatments which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, as well as Solution-Focused and Mindfulness therapy. , I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which can help one heal from distressing life experiences.
