About Us

The Meltzer Center provides a variety of low fee assessment and therapy mental health services to individuals within the Washington, DC metro area. We are located at George Washington University, near the Foggy Bottom metro. We offer evidence-based individual, family, group (see below for current group description), and couples therapy (CBT, etc.) to address a wide variety of psychological problems, relationship issues, and personal concerns. , In addition, we offer assessment services for both children and adults, including psychoeducational testing for evaluation of learning disabilities and ADHD, as well as psychological concerns.Our clinicians are graduate students enrolled in our Clinical Psychology PhD program. All sessions are supervised by licensed clinical psychologists who are faculty. , We offer a sliding scale based on your ability to pay. Costs do not exceed $50 per session for individual therapy, and $60 per session for couples therapy. Assessments fees are also on a sliding scale; payment plans are available.
