Once that is established, I make sure to carefully listen to each individuals unique story, assist in planning ahead for challenges, channel strengths, and collaboratively track progress together. ", I utilize a powerful brain-based therapy called EMDR, which has been empirically tested in the treatment of trauma, but also has been used extensively in the the treatment of non-traumatized individuals who are experiencing problems with anxiety, low mood, and relationship difficulties.
