My goal is to care for the whole person by teaching the individual coping skills to handle stressors caused by medically, mentally, or spiritually challenged life. Working as a Nurse/Midwife was fulfilling. Currently, applying psychotherapy to the nurse/midwife experience is impressive, and working with a Doctor of Professional Counseling (DPC) degree is like icing on the cake. I love what I do. I make well-informed decisions about caring for my clients. , Healthcare workers are overwhelmed with helping other people but tend to neglect their overall well-being. Burnout has reached rampant levels. Mental health remains a taboo subject among medical professionals. As a result, many are reluctant to seek intervention due to potential humiliation, effects on income, or licensure actions. This stigma can be changed , Furthermore, I have a passion for working with immigrants for the simple reason they appear to be overwhelmed in a new nation that they have chosen to make their home. I have a positive attitude toward cultural differences and a readiness to accept and respect those differences. I will provide an environment necessary for growth.
