About Us

As you encounter life and its many hurdles, you can be presented with challenging situations, transitions in life, and unforeseen circumstances. If you are struggling with the weight of anxiety, depression, burnout, or traumatic memories, it can be helpful to have the space and a person at your side to walk with you in navigating these challenges. Some of my specific clinical interests include processing and healing from religious-based trauma and coming out as LGBTQIA. I am licensed in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. , In the therapeutic setting, I approach clients from a person-centered and strengths-based perspective. I utilize a collaborative approach with my clients and use principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and a trauma-informed approach. My clients have described me as engaging, empathic, warm, and good-humored. , My approach is to always meet clients where they are in unconditional positive regard. I want to ensure that my clients feel empowered and that they are given a safe space to both process and face their challenges in a supported manner.
