About Us

I have been practicing for over 20 years and have a strong expertise in relationships (couple\s therapy, dating, infidelity, relationship conflict, divorce, etc.). I also specialize in anxiety, trauma, addictions and working with high-achieving individuals. My approach involves helping clients develop insight about why they are finding themselves "stuck," while also teaching useful skills that facilitate behavior change; both are crucial for lasting change to occur. Insight provides understanding and self-compassion. Skills help us function better in our day-to-day lives. My approach is empathic, collaborative and practical. , I tailor my approach based on your needs. With couples, my approach is informed by Emotion Focused Therapy and Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy. With individuals, my approach is informed by Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and 12-Step Facilitation. , I received my clinical training and then worked in NYC for 17 years. 10 years ago, I moved my practice to MD and DE. For New York clients, I provide tele-psychology services. I also conduct Motivational Interviewing workshops for healthcare practitioners across the U.S.A.
