About Us

I am a native New Englander with over 28 years of experience in recovery and helping those suffering from substance use disorders (SUD) and mental health challenges. I spent over three decades in the financial services industry before transitioning full time in 2015 to the treatment field, first earning my CAC credentialing and then graduate degree and LADC at WCSU. I am motivated to help individuals overcome the stigma associated with SUD and mental health challenges which I have personally experienced. , I have diverse experience in the treatment field having worked as a M.A.T. counselor at Connecticut Counseling Center from 2015 to 2017, then joining Aware Recovery Care, a provider of long-term intensive case management services and in 2019 left ARC to pursue a private recovery coaching practice and obtain a master’s degree in Addiction Studies. , You can check out my website (www.vmorecoveryservices.com) to learn more about my background and the services I provide.
