I am an IFS trained therapist (Level 2 as of late May 2024) who specializes in helping parents more effectively meet the demands and needs of their children, particularly those with anxiety, ADHD and/or other learning challenges. My approach is very practical, skill-based, and emotionally supportive. I believe that when parents feel supported and skillful and have their own anxiety and emotional life well managed, their children are better able to learn the skills they need to cope well and thrive. , Although I specialize in coaching and supporting parents, I also work with individuals whose primary struggles are with anxiety management, emotion regulation, trauma and learning challenges - including individuals with chronic pain and ADHD. , My philosophy is that with some knowledge, encouragement, hard work and practice most everyone can learn a more effective way to manage their life, their job and/or their family.
