" Hello and Im so glad youre reaching out for support. My name is Stephanie Beilinson, LPC and I have, with pride, been an Individual Counselor for 13 years. I have great experience working with people from all walks of life with a multitude of Mental Health concerns. I look forward to meeting you on your journey. My approach to therapy is essentially person centered where I meet my client where they are without an agenda. The use of CBT skills is essential to developing new patterns and breaking old less useful ones. ", I work with adults and young adults especially around depression, anxiety, PTSD, interpersonal dynamics, self-esteem, family dynamics, career planning, parenting. My tone is informal and comfortable but with healthy boundaries within the definition of a counseling relationship. , My approach to goal setting is by working with my client to conceptualize the goal in realistic terms and breaking it down for more tangible steps towards success. During the first session we will perform an "Evaluation" which is basically used to help establish history and current concerns. We can set treatment goals at this point as well.
