I have had the privilege to work with many wonderful people since I came into this field in 2008, and what I have learned is that the most important thing in counseling is the relationship. To me you are a whole person and I will always treat you that way. I will go out of my way to let you know that I do care about you, about the way you feel and what your own personal goals are. I will do my best to make sure you feel comfortable and look forward to coming to your appointments. , While I do specialize with preadolescents, adolescents, and adults, over the years I have worked with many people of different ages ranging from 3 years old to 60 years old. I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, family relational problems, postpartum depression, problems of adolescence and adulthood. , I was one of the first people in the state of Connecticut to become certified in TFCBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help those struggling with PTSD symptoms. I am also trained in CFTSI (Child Family Traumatic Stress Intervention) for families who have recently experienced a traumatic event.
