A major part of my therapy with individuals provides short term therapy that gets results. You may feel stuck, it may be difficult to get through the day, or you may hit a rough patch in life. Whether you struggle with addiction, anxiety and worry, traumatic memoires, relationships, or just need some professional direction. As a therapist with training for afflictions of the mind, body, and spirit, we can find the tools to help you make positive changes and find some relief. , My areas of specialty include trauma work, PTSD, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, grief and loss, life transitions, medical conditions, Military Life, and work with First Responders. I am trained in EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples. I am a nationally recognized Certified Interventionist for addictions. , As a Licensed Professional Counselor in CT and NY, I am trained in the treatment of trauma and traumatic stress. I am an embedded clinician for the National Guard Infantry and work with veterans and military families. As a graduate of seminary, I also offer faith based counseling and a focus on spirituality when desired.
