The Teachers Therapist. Back to School can be exciting or it can come with its own feeling of dread. Having been a teacher for over 10 years, I understand the specific anxieties and worries around the profession. The anxiety can seep into all aspects of your life and the relationships that surround you. Currently I work with clients who are experiencing the debilitating effects of anxiety, depression, addiction and the breakdown of relationships. I work with both couples and individuals to explore the root cause and the core belief system. Together we explore the benefits of change as well as what it means to thrive. , Together we address belief systems that are faulty, resulting in unwanted responses. I am solution focused in my practice because most clients want to start feeling better now. Working toward a goal that helps facilitate change in behavior is an expedient way to address the daily struggles and the unwanted self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. , " Although I specialize in womens issues especially around relationships and life transitions, I also work with single men who are also struggling in the relationship area. Additionally, I work with couples who are experiencing relationship breakdown due to lifestyle changes and/or the breakdown of family harmony. "
