My belief is that everyone has the knowledge of how to solve their problems somewhere inside of them. People come to therapy with a wide variety of issues. Some are as simple as "I would like to have better communication with my spouse, partner, children, or friends. Other issues are more far reaching such as "I feel sad all the time." Or "I can\t seem to stop drinking , People often get stuck in behaviors or looking at relationships in a fixed fashion. I like the job title "change agent" to describe what I do. Solution Focused Therapy allows me to help my clients spend more of our time on the answers rather than on the problems. , I am a warm individual who listens to your problems and helps you formulate the goals that YOU want to achieve. This involves conversations and often, trying out some new behaviors, patterns of speech, or ways of thinking that can lead you to a more satisfying and fullfilling life.
