About Us

As a holistic psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience, I have had the privilege of supporting my clients through a variety of difficult life experiences. Integrating my own personal struggles and shame has opened me to become a more compassionate, nonjudgmental therapist. My warmth and humor help to create a safe environment that allows my clients to transform difficult emotions such as grief, rage ,despair,fear, and shame and open to more happiness, fulfillment and peace in their lives. , Areas of specialization include: Grief/loss, Transitions, Anxiety, Depression and Addiction. Prior to private practice I worked for ten years in the East Hartford Public School system as a counseling consultant. I have also worked as a a Licensed Addictions Counselor in out-patient and in-patient treatment facilities. , " In my work with individuals (including adolescents), couples and families, I integrate a variety of tools and techniques based upon post-graduate trainings that Ive participated in. These include: Mindfulness Meditation, Focusing, Internal Family Systems(IFS), and Body-Centered Gestalt Therapy. "
