About Us

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a MSW from Fordham University School of Social Service. I am licensed in CT, CA, and VA and can see clients who live in those states. My approach is both person-centered and trauma-informed. I have experience working with children, adolescents, teens and adults. I also have experience working with people with brain injury/concussion as well as people who identify as ADHD, “On the spectrum,” Neurodivergent, Neurodiverse, LGBTQ and other marginalized groups. I also have experience working with caregivers, veterans, and divorced/single parents. , I have training in ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, school issues, self-esteem, substance use, concussion/brain injury and post/prolonged/persistent concussion symptoms (3 months after a brain injury). I also research and present on brain injury (especially in women) and am author of nine peer-reviewed papers. , With my clients, I take a non-judgmental approach; using openness, transparency, honesty, humility, and kindness. I use a cognitive behavioral approach with my clients as well as motivational interviewing and mindfulness techniques to help my clients reach their goals.
